Linda A. Koenig

Linda KoenigLinda is an organizational effectiveness and human resources consultant. She provides executive coaching in leadership, motivation, critical-thinking and survival skills in turbulent work environments. Her specialty areas include performance coaching with individuals who are underperforming because of behavioral or philosophical differences with the organization and mediating tensions between employees who behave unprofessionally with one another because of standing conflicts.

Linda’s services in human resources include issues such as recruitment, selection, discipline, grievances, terminations, dispute resolution, and negotiation and administration of union contracts. Linda was the human resources director in a public organization with over 1,000 employees and 7 unions for 13 years prior to the start of her consulting practice.

Linda has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from Ohio University. She has attended Kent State University for postgraduate work and has studied Organizational Development at the National Training Laboratories Institute. She also has pursued extensive postgraduate work at the internationally known Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Her training programs include Managing Conflict in the Organizational Setting; Team Building; Motivating/Energizing/Relaxation Techniques; Personality Types: Myers-Briggs; Working Against Racism/Sexism; and Communication Skills for the Workplace. She also is a certified trainer of Investment in Excellence and the Emotional Intelligence Inventory.

Past clients have included both public and private sector companies/agencies ranging from global companies to small local businesses.

Linda has served as a member of the Civil Service Commission for the city of Richmond Heights and President and Vice President of her condominium board for over 23 years. Currently she serves on the Board of the Cleveland Mediation Center.
